Inner Web Flow Yoga in Columbus, OH
Fascia-focused mobilization (yoga) that reduces pain, stiffness, and helps reset you to return to an active lifestyle!
Why does it matter to learn how to use Fascia correctly?
You may not be able to reach or stoop as far as you once could. Walking might be limited by pain. Running or biking could be impossible. Playing with your children or grandchildren may be hard to do.
Fascia has a huge role in this. It’s a mobile connective tissue that surrounds and penetrates all muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, and organs of the body all the way to the cellular level. It literally extends as a three-dimensional web of fibers throughout the body from the top of your head to your toes.
It is essential to every body movement, organ, and cell function.
Fascia becomes restricted or bound up by inflammation, surgeries, accidents, injuries, repeated motions, birth defects, daily activities, and poor posture.
Fascial restrictions can cause limited and painful movement or disease.
Inner Web Flow Yoga teaches students how to mobilize their body’s fascia correctly to restore movement, reduce pain, and practice mindfulness to break pain cycles.
How is Inner Web Flow Yoga different from other yoga studios in Columbus?
Our instructors educate each class on how to scientifically change their body structures from the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach® throughout each session. Each yoga class benefits from how to regulate their nervous systems, as well as change their bodies down to the cellular level. Similar to experiencing a hands-on MFR session, throughout each yoga class, the connective tissues soften, and pressure is released to relieve pain for authentic healing throughout different poses.
This process takes time because the fascial system cannot be forced. Students will feel the changes in their bodies and in their pain. They’ll move more freely, will be able to relax and refresh themselves, lessen their experience of pain, and enjoy life more.
This class is the application of being an active participant in the healing process.
Self-treatment is taught to every student for their specific needs to enhance the changes and pain relief achieved in the classes. Students heal faster and learn to self-manage their pain to avoid the need for surgeries, medications, and injections.
